Inside Sales/Construction Estimator in the Concrete Industry

On-Site Concrete Solutions, a leader in the Ready-Mix and Concrete Industry, is looking for a competent and passionate individual to join our Kemah home office.

We are looking for someone who has experience in construction job cost estimating i.e., preparing concrete bids. A background in Sales is also highly preferred.

You will have the responsibility of overseeing operational support for On-Site projects, as well as preparing job cost estimates. Your duties will include, but may not be limited to:

· Materials and resource pricing and purchasing.

· Materials and resource tracking.

· Project budgets and monitoring.

· Business development and promotion.

· Crew operational support.

· Quality Control.

· Perform detailed review of construction plans, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare estimates

· Obtaining material and equipment quotes from suppliers.

· Pricing and quote preparation.

· Preparing concrete bids and submitting them to clients.

· Consulting with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.

Job Requirements

· Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organize significant amounts of information while staying focused on the task at hand.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Passionate.

· Strong prioritization skills.

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business and construction documents, drawings, and technical procedures.

· Ability to communicate well with all levels of workers involved with the project.

· Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.

· Proficiency in Microsoft software programs such as Excel, Word and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications: B.A. or B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field.
