Inside Sales/Customer Service
Job description
Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking an experienced Sales Support Specialist for a new opportunity with our client, a technical manufacturing company located in the Triad. The Sales Support Specialist should have at least 3 years of inside sales and account management experience dealing with a technical product line. Starting pay is negotiable based on experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing customers in the logistics, wholesale and manufacturing fields.
- Develops industry relationships through participation in group associates, meetings and trade shows.
- Identifies and locates new customers through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls.
- Develops and implements strategies for sales in assigned regions, covering parts of two states.
- Applies knowledge of the field and product features to match products to the needs of customers.
- Answers inquiries from customers concerning products, their uses and the industry at large.
- Provides information, quotes, credit terms and other bid specifications to customers.
- Negotiates prices, terms of sales, and/or service agreements; provides order information to the sales support team.
- Performs solely and/or assists on product sales, demos, projects, installations, etc.
- Demonstrates the features and benefits of products and provides a fair comparison against the competition.
- Periodically prepares and reports results, the status of accounts and leads to manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration preferred.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years’ experience in sales support or inside sales.
- Mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Ability to overcome sales objections and maintain positivity.
