ResponsibilitiesThis position will be responsible for the follow:
Acquire, manage repair, buy, sell and/or exchange of rotable assets. This includes quoting prices, credit terms and delivery dates.
Vendor management and all related activities (buying, selling, etc.)
Maintain up to date accurate sales records and keep data updated in ERP system
Quote non-standard repairs, maintenance of forms, and responding to RFQs via phone, email and selling platforms
Participate in the preparations of sales plans and campaigns, business plans and product development plans
Create and develop contacts with existing and potential customers
Interview with Triumph's corporate sales team to provide technical assistance and promotion of the product/service offerings
Support Sales Management and outside sales activities. Represent Triumph at aviation conferences including but not limited to the MRO and ACPC
Analyze existing and anticipated customer requirements and promote consideration of company product and services to fill such requirements
Investigate and resolve customer issues
Provide sales and customer service to airlines, MROs, Suppliers, and brokers
Must understand traceability requirements and FAA regulations as they relate to surplus, new and new surplus and overhauled parts
Source parts through search engines such as ILS, parts base and other business relationships. Update inventory and capabilities on all selling platforms.
Compilation of PMA packages
Process exchanges and working with the CSR team to help find solutions for customers Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor degree desired
2 - 4 years of related work experience
Excellent written (email, presentation, marketing materials, etc.) and verbal communication skills
Ability to build effective organization relationships inside and outside of the department
Ability to make appropriate business judgement and decisions independently
Demonstrated mastery of technical knowledge of aviation components
Able to professionally represent the company during customer visits/interactions, conferences, and trade shows in order to seek new opportunities and maintain current accounts
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn in-house company software programs (i.e. Quick Aviation)
Aerospace experience preferred
