Inside Sales Support - ProLink
Job description
Purpose of Job
Contribute to the achievement of company goals and objectives by providing prompt, courteous customer service for the ProLink product line. Ensure accuracy of order input and maintenance of customer records.
Task & Duties
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following:
· Work together with Sales associates to support customer needs by determining the best products and solutions.
· Ensuring the delivery of personalized customer service through timely quotations and accurate sales orders.
· Promptly input orders in computer system following ISO 9001-2000 guidelines.
· Coordinate deliveries on behalf of customers.
· Verify the customer has an approved credit application and sufficient credit limit for the order. Coordinate with the Accounting Department to resolve credit reports, account payable balances, credits, and / or past due problems.
· Answer sales calls for general information, addressing and resolving customer concerns or questions.
· Ability to effectively use enterprise resource planning (ERP) SAP system and phone system.
· Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer records reflecting all potential customer requirements in order to ensure continued, effective customer service.
· Verify accuracy of completed orders prior to shipping; notify person responsible for corrective action as necessary.
· Upon notification, promptly contact customer to advise of any delays / problems in completing and / or shipping order as requested; refer conflicts that may damage customer relations to ProLink Manager.
· Report all customer related concerns and / or issues to Sales Representative responsible for customer's account.
· Courteously and accurately accept customer Return Goods Authorizations (RGA's) by phone, mail and / or fax. Issue RGA number and complete checklist for entry into the computer system.
Measurement of performance
· Order Input Accuracy
· Accuracy of "bricklaying" and pricing
· Up-to-Date Customer information kept in computer system
· Follow Up and Problem Resolution
Requirements
· Ability to operate all office related equipment including computers, copiers, fax, telephone and other office equipment.
· Exhibit strong skills for sales, including the ability to upsell.
· Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and ability to make decisions in a timely manner.
· 5+ years manufacturing customer service or sales support experience preferred
· Understand and apply basic mathematic skills
· Satisfactory completion of required training programs.
· Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment & follow through on commitments.
· Excellent interpersonal skills to develop good working relations with the customer in order to instill confidence and promote future business.
· Technologically Savvy in utilizing various systems as well as Microsoft Office suite
· Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and processes
· Ability to understand and comply with policies, procedures at all times.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Position requies, but is not limited to the following demands / factors:
Physical:
· Primarily a sedentary position with occasional walking and/or standing.
· Frequent use of computer using a keyboard for data entry.
· Frequent writing and use of telephone.
· Occasional reaching and stretching.
· Speak and hear clearly and distinctly in order to verbally communicate with others.
· Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less to be able to read and verify accuracy of information (i.e. numbers, dates)

Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
