Summary: Position will work effectively with all departments, especially Engineering and Production, to ensure that we are reaching our goal to “Always Deliver a Quality Product on Time”. Quality Inspectors assure consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing good manufacturing and inspection practices and systems; validating processes and providing accurate documentation. These positions will drive continuous improvements throughout the facility through disciplined problem-solving techniques and by supporting ORIZON’s Quality Policy, Mission Statement and other ORIZON policies and procedures and by supporting our commitment to total customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Perform responsibilities associated with a Level 1 Inspector as well as the following:
- Perform inspection by utilizing laboratory grade equipment including (i.e. CMM(s), Scanners, Optical Comparators, Surf analyzers, etc.)
- Enter data and complete First Article Inspection (FAI) Reports using Net-Inspect.
- Create and Complete Return Material Authorization (RMA) and Material Rejection Report (MRR) processes using Syteline to ensure timely resolution.
- Capture data and images for use in creating a Power Point Presentation to clearly identify any non-conformances.
- Train level 1 inspectors to perform inspection and troubleshoot by utilizing laboratory grade equipment including (i.e. CMM(s), Scanners, Optical Comparators, Surf analyzers, etc.)
