Installation Helper, Residential HVAC - Summer Temporary
Job description
We have openings for two, full-time, temporary HVAC Installation Helpers to work with us this summer. This is a great opportunity for those new to HVAC or those currently enrolled in a technical program looking to gain some experience. This position works alongside and under the direction of a Standard Heating Installer, helping remove and replace residential HVAC equipment and all other installation tasks and duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work at residential homes throughout the metro area
- Help remove and replace furnaces, air conditioners and other related HVAC equipment
- Assist lead Installer to reclaim refrigerants, set outside condenser unit, and leveling pad.
- Clean up job site as directed
- Stock installation truck as necessary
- Present themselves in professional manner at all times
- Follow all safety guidelines for HVAC installation tasks
- Provide high level customer service
- Other duties as assigned
High personal integrity and desire to serve others- Valid driver’s license & safe driving record
- Mechanically inclined
- Diploma or equivalent
- Professional approach with customers
- Safety minded
- Ability to lift up to 150 lbs.
