Overview: Legacy Partners Insurance Services is a fast-growing independent insurance agency with offices in Harrison Township and Livonia, MI. We are looking for a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative to join our Harrison Township office to help us write and service new commercial lines business, with some limited responsibility for retaining certain accounts from existing book of business.

License Requirement: Candidates must have an insurance producer license in the State of Michigan for Property & Casualty Insurance.

Responsibilities: The position will require candidates to:

• Have a thorough understanding of commercial insurance coverages for a very large variety of businesses.
• Be comfortable reviewing insurance coverages and identifying potential gaps in coverage or changes required to existing insurance coverages.
• Prepare and submit applications (both through Acord submissions and through online quoting portals for various carriers) for insurance coverage.
• Maintain a positive, helpful, and professional attitude towards customers at all times.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from customers, including by providing advice regarding insurance coverage questions, and making changes to coverages on behalf of insureds.
• Keep records using our CRM software regarding client and carrier interactions.
• Work cohesively with other team members at Legacy, including insurance producers and other customer service representatives, to ensure the highest level of customer service at all times.

Work Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the insurance industry, with at least 1 year in a similar position is strongly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
