This Interim Physician’s Assistant position is with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that serves its surrounding community by providing top tier, high quality health. The Interim Physician’s Assistant will be joining a Health Center that provides the best in healthcare to low-income residents in the community with a. special focus on seasonal and migrant farm-workers and anyone that might be experiencing barriers to receiving healthcare. This Health Center also owns 14 clinics, pharmacies, 5 school based health centers, a Women’s Clinic, and more. The Interim PA will be a resource for providing primary care medical services to the patients of the Center which may include the areas of pediatrics, general adult care, obstetrics, family planning, and newborn care.

Further responsibilities of the Interim Physician’s Assistant include participation in quality improvement meetings, providing assistance to other members of the medical team, implementing plans to meet the organization’s goals, and patient education. Qualifications of the Interim Physician’s Assistant include completion of a physician assistant training program approved by the State of Oregon and Licensure by the state of Oregon by the Board of Nursing.
