RDG Planning & Design is currently hiring for an experienced interior designer who can join our group and help us craft spaces that reflect the unique culture and vision of each client we serve. As an interior designer at RDG, you’ll have the opportunity to bring artistic visions to life, seeing each design through from project creation to completion. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet with client and internal team to develop upfront design concepts
- Serve as an integral part of RDG’s interiors team develop project documents and drawings from schematic design to construction documents
- Produce quality renderings that tell the interiors story
- Work with consultants on drawing coordination
- Self-directed individual with strong decision-making skills
- Future thinking collaborator
- Ability to sort through large amounts of information and determine the best way forward
- Builds long term relationships with team members and clients
- Ability to craft visually compelling client presentation materials that communicate design concepts to team and client
- A continuous learner who constantly looks at how to improve themselves and the firm
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design
- 3-10 years experience
- Experience in selecting and pulling together FF&E packages
- Proficient in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape and Bluebeam software
