Inventory and Pricing Analyst
Job description
The Data Analyst’s role will be to manage the pricing of the company’s inventory and maintain competitive pricing to achieve inventory turn and profit margin objectives. Reporting to the Senior Analyst and working directly with the President, the Data Analyst will be primarily responsible for maintaining inventory aging goals and will be required to report variances to targets as requested. The Data Analyst will serve as the backup to the Senior Analyst for key responsibilities as assigned. This role may require non-business hours availability to complete certain tasks which cannot be completed during normal business hours.
Responsibilities:
- Complete Daily Pricing of new Inventory of Equipment coming off of lease, this includes using various pricing sheets and factors to determine correct price.
- Re-price machines weekly if needed to speed inventory turnover.
- Coordinate with President weekly specials to speed inventory turnover
- Run promotions and specials to liquidate old inventory.
- Price auction machines weekly
- Create packages with package discounts.
- Monitor inventory to recommend equipment to be recycled.
- Determine items to list under auctions and report on results.
- Ability to analyze trends by Product/Rep to maximize sales price and overall Revenue generation.
- Ability to work with Marketing Coordinator on e-mail campaigns directed to targeted customers based on past Sales Trends.
- Assist President in review of Sales Rep Activities, including new customer additions to CRM, approvals and assistance in their container builds/order fulfillment.
- Assist Company President with customer orders, any customer issues, initial responses to leads and managing new prospects.
- Reconcile web inventory with Sage / resolve all discrepancies
- Manage inventory aging to stated targets
- Daily inventory posting
- IT support / Website support
- Server and CRM periodic data purge and cleanup
- Inventory changes for 3PL billing
- Backup to senior analyst for lease partner reporting
- Reconcile 3PL inventory to confirm proper location assignment and designations within portal
- Provide inventory support to OM
- Manage Ring Central moves, adds, voice mail, address updates, etc. Update all phones to corresponding numbers for physical locations
- Provide ad-hoc reporting as requested for inventory, pricing, aging, etc.
- Monitor all items report to ensure all inventory is positioned for rapid turnover
Compensation, Benefits, Hours:
- Salary commensurate with experience
- Bonus Potential of 5% of wages per quarter
- Benefits include Medical, Dental, and 401K Plan with Matching up to 4%
- Paid national holidays
Working hours are Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm
