Job description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
Count all products and supplies.
Analyze pricing records and compare them to physical company inventory.
Report any discrepancies to direct supervisor with a plan of solution.
Maintains cleanliness and organization of stock room.
Submit order for new supplies, and/or repair of equipment.
Investigate probably cause of repairs with department heads before initiating action.
Locate and remove expired or defective merchandise from Medical and Dental floors and Stockroom.
Pack up defective items for return, create shipping labels, and mail items.
Prepare a Monthly Disposal Log to be submitted to the Financial Director
Adhere to policy and procedures to the 340B Program.
Check in and distribute incoming items per each requisition form.
Use software and MS Excel computerized programs to record, track, and maintain all inventory related data.
Accepts and signs all sale item company deliveries.
Adjusts inventory reports to account for new deliveries.
Attends meetings, when necessary, to discuss profit loss/gains with inventory control.
Other duties as assigned by management.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrate proficiency in the use of inventory software.
Possess specific knowledge of company ‘s range of products and services.
Exhibits ability to interpret and explain inventory and sales reports.
Possess physical strength necessary to unload and restock supplies.
Pays close attention to detail
Demonstrates strong organizational skills
Exhibits ability to think creatively in order to devise the best inventory control practices.
Possess a keen eye for organization.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Works well with a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
