Responsibilities and Duties:

The candidate will serve as regulatory and legal counsel to our numerous Investment Adviser clients. The breadth of legal issues we regularly advise on include: i) compliance with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA rules, ii) corporate and tax issues, iii) ERISA and employee benefits, iv) employment law, and v) avoiding and defending administrative and regulatory proceedings.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of relevant practice experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal, drafting, negotiation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent drafting skills.
  • Should be a strong analytical thinker with a business mind.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and to interact directly with clients.
  • Licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey.
