These future factories are cutting across industries like Discreet and Continuous Process Manufacturing, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Automotive, Aerospace, Energy, Steel, Resources and Mining, Pharma and Medical devices and Hi-Tech.

Responsibilities / Expected Deliverables from the Solution Director:

This is an exciting role in the IOT and Digital engineering. The proposed role leads the market engagement of the Connected Plants Business Unit in the named assigned geography. The role reports into the Global Unit Head for Connected Plants and locally to the country Business Development Head for Digital Engineering and IoT. It is a role with high visibility and responsibility.

Following would be some of the key roles and responsibilities:

• Lead the Connected Plants Business Development for Industries such as -CPG, HiTech, Auto, IMC, Chemical, Aero, Pharma & Medical Devices, Energy and Recourses, Steel etc.
• Engage with the CXO leadership in key accounts to build long term relationships to sight opportunities ahead of their formal bidding, shape the opportunities
• Analyze the customer requirement (Proactive pitch, RFI, RFP) to arrive at the best fit / innovative solution to meet customer needs
• Provide oversight to large / strategic transformative engagements with our clients, participate in steering committees, address issues and challenges in delivery, execution, support
• Engage with different sales and pre-sales teams to architect and articulate comprehensive solutions for addressing the client needs
• Co-ordinate with external partners (where necessary) to define product leverage for client needs / fit
• Support development of sales & pre-sales pitch & value proposition and win high quality proposals with top notch brand messaging in I 4.0 / Connected Plants
• Position the Unit and its Services in the Market in engagements with Analysts, Business Partners, Product Vendors, Events, Seminars etc.
• Leverage connects in the industry for identifying other potential candidates for the Connected Plants team for participating in client engagements, especially at program manager and consultant level
• Connects with local boutique partners and firms for niche solutions
• Put in place the delivery engagement for executing the client needs
