We are looking for a highly professional and personable IT Application Specialist to join our WSB Community Banking Technology Team. This individual will be responsible for implement, maintain and support the organization’s repository of host related applications, as well as other Bank applications, using best practices. The Applications Specialist will also participate in the vendor management and business continuity planning/testing processes. This individual will apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to guide and assist the end-user group on issues related to the use of all host-related information and software systems.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the technical interface with Fiserv as well as other 3rdparty software providers for support related issues.
- Install, configure, and deploy new applications, systems software, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the company with the approval of the Senior Vice President - Technology.
- Provide end-user support for all Fiserv Applications, including but not limited to ClearTouch Portal, Cleartouch New Accounts and Teller, Enterprise Output Management, etc.
- Provide end-user support for non-Fiserv applications, including those used to service customers, provide reporting and support the success of the Bank in meeting its goals and objectives.
- Research and make recommendations for changes in software, systems, and technologies that will help to make the organization more efficient and better meet the needs of the end-users and customers.
- Monitor application environment, including review of application, logs for suspicious activities, and report any unauthorized user accesses.
- Manage all host-interfacing Applications, including but not limited to Nautilus and Image Scanning applications, Business Analytics (including hardware and software interface with Fiserv), Telephone Banking, Loan Origination Systems (MortgagebotLOS, Medici) and General Ledger Applications.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Four-year college diploma or university degree in system, network or application management, and/or 2 years equivalent work experience.
- Experience with core software applications, including all Fiserv Cleartouch applications, online banking and telephone banking applications. Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including current Microsoft operating systems and Office applications.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, research, problem solving and organizational skills. Highly self-motivated yet comfortable working in a team oriented, collaborative environment.
This individual must be enthusiastic, customer focused with an attention to detail, and enjoy working with people with all levels of technology knowledge and experience.
