Job Description:
Responsible for enhancing and developing moderately complex SAP modules partnering with business analysts to implement, solve issues, and develop technical solutions/options into detailed technical design documents ensuring all functional requirements are met in the technical design. Coordinate with business analysts and other IT departments to design, develop, implement, enhance, and maintain moderately complex solutions and adheres to company’s development standards, guidelines, and best practices. Work closely with business users to understand business processes and document requirements to design technical solutions. Coordinate technical aspects of operations such as solving production problems, making enhancements to existing functionality, and fix bugs in the application. Responsible for the exchange of ideas for better overall application architecture. Develop proto-types and present to stakeholders as solution options as well as for purposes of introducing new technologies and development techniques in the environment. Develop test plans, execute testing (unit and integration) and document results. Identify, research, and resolve production support issues as assigned and provide recommendations to management, customers, and peers. Develop training
materials, support documentation, and provide end-user training within scope of responsibility.
Education Requirement: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science,
Engineering, or a related field, or the foreign equivalent
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in programming and systems analysis with SAP IS-Oil (oil and gas industry-specific modules) and including experience with Business Warehouse and Business Planning & Consolidation (BW/BPC) and with SAP Retail Fuel Network Operations (RFNO). Minimum of 5 years (inclusive) of information technology experience in analysis, design, implementation, and support to include some use of the following SAP tools: ABAP language
on SAP’s S/4 HANA, Web UI5, and Webdynpro/FPM (user interface tools); ObjectOriented ABAP (OOABAP); Application Interface Framework (AIF) add on; and Enhancement Framework. Minimum of 4 years (inclusive) of experience in SAP pricing portals/Cockpits integrating with VERTEX and with VISTEX. Minimum of 4 years (inclusive) of experience with gap analysis and
strategic roadmap/blueprint development. Minimum of 4 years (inclusive) of experience using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.
