Amentum is looking for an IT Material Handler to join our team in Alexandria, Virginia.

We are pipelining candidates for a future role.

You have exceptional experience with receiving, sorting, stocking, packing, and shipping IT equipment. Your motivated and collaborative work approach will also come in handy as you support your fellow team members and assist with various tasks that may not be directly assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Loading or unloading of freight cars, trucks, or other transporting devices
• Unpacking, cleaning, shelving, or placing items in proper storage locations
• Transporting goods by hand truck, cart, or wheelbarrow
• Entering material data into inventory management systems
• Produce work and inventory reports

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• At least 1 year of experience receiving, sorting, stocking, packing, and shipping IT equipment
• Basic computer skills and keyboard knowledge
• Due to the nature of the work, must be a U.S. citizen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance prior to your start date

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal training in materials/warehouse operation
• Previous experience with material control data systems
• Customer interface experience
