IT Project Mgmt Sr. Advisor – CMDB Governance
POSITION SUMMARY
This position will lead the governance of CMDB data through partnership with stakeholders and the CMDB development team . This role will be responsible for maintaining a data dictionary for CMDB fields that are both required and auxiliary.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all data contracts of managed Cis and continuously refine them with Data stewards.
Enable visual management systems to identify gaps within CMDB by application groupings or management groups.
Maintain clear accounting of all fields at all times making it completely clear what can be relied on within CMDB
Provide clarity for all technology stakeholders on what data points CMDB has and what CMDB doesn’t have that can be used for business decisions.
Develops roadmaps, outlooks, and target state capabilities that are aligned with strategies of the ITSM platform team, ERA and SRE

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, advanced degree a plus
Extensive experience in ServiceNow including script development and dashboarding.
Collaborative and proactive reaching out to process owners and stewards to always maintain quality data
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior executives and partners.
Deep practitioner of Agile and Lean methodologies
Demonstrated continuous improvement and continuous learning mindset.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
ServiceNow Platform development
Data visualization experience – providing clear insights from complex data
Programming experience a plus, but not required, with a focus on python or javascript
Expert level organizational skills to always ensure clear menu of data CMDB supports

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
