We are seeking an
IT Project Manager for a
12+ month contract role that is
remote (all work must be done in the US)
The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading strategic and tactical projects that impact a specific application or suite of related applications. This role requires skilled execution of the following key tasks and project elements: 1) Overall project leadership, 2) Management of the triple constraints of time, cost, and scope, 3) Project planning, monitoring and control, 4) Resource management, 5) Stakeholder communication and coordination, 6) Risk and issue management, 7) Process management, 8) Metrics management, and 9) Change control. This position requires a minimum of 2-4 years of experience on these tasks as an IT Project Manager.
Main scope of the project will be cloud migrations in the network/telecom realm

Main scope of the project will be cloud migrations in the network/telecom realm
- Prepare a kickoff deck for each customer, using a standard template
- Conduct kickoff with customer’s account team
- Conduct regular checkpoint meetings with account team, assigned Migration Architect, and other assigned team members
- Prepare schedule for migration
- Maintain current documentation re customer migrations using standard tools (i.e. Teams)
- Maintain accurate schedule of planned migrations
- Create Service Improvement Incidents, IRs, and other requests to engage technical resources for research and planning
- Create change requests for planned migrations (CRQs), and manage same
- Ensure Methods of Procedure (MoPs) are prepared and posted and peer reviewed in a timely manner
- Ensure perform resources are assigned to a change in a timely manner
- Ensure change is approved prior to the change starting
- Facilitate go / no go calls for each migration
- Facilitate migration bridge for each move event
- Note: Migrations occur on weeknights and weekends local data center time
- During the migration, send regular updates to the stakeholders
- Facilitate Lessons Learned session after each move event
