Primary Function:
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for installing, configuring, upgrading, maintaining, and repairing workstations, printers, peripheral devices, and software at multiple locations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Employee may be called upon to perform any or all of the following functions:
- Install, configure, and support desktop and laptop workstations, software, printers, peripherals, etc. This includes Microsoft Office suite and various other Windows hosted applications.
- Provides end users support for workstation operating systems, hardware and network issues.
- Provides support for Microsoft Office suite, web browsers, anti-virus, file management, and back-up system.
- Installs, configures, upgrades, maintains, repairs or replaces, and documents hardware and software systems.
- Assists with Network Admin projects as needed.
- Proactive in ensuring customer satisfaction through workstation systems integrity and reliability.
- Periodic after-hour support for system upgrades to ensure business continuity.
- Travel to remote offices no more than 10% of the year.
- Other duties as required
Associates Degree or A+ Certification is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience within a corporate IT environment providing direct IT support to end-users remotely and in-person is preferred. Previous experience supporting an engineering environment is a plus.

- Advanced working knowledge of modern desktop operating systems and related computer technologies
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Proactive in ensuring customer satisfaction
- Detail-oriented with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven communication skills, both oral and written
- Self-motivated
