Vermeer North Atlantic Sales and Service - the exclusive dealer/distributor for the Hudson Valley New York, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania region - is looking to hire an IT Support Specialist to add to its already accomplished team.

Job Summary- The IT Support Specialist role is a full-time role that has been developed to support the Director of IT. On the job training will be provided over a probationary period of 90 days after which point you will be eligible for all company benefits. This position is a role that requires speed, accuracy, and patience. There is a time element to accomplishing this work and at times can be heavy data input and deadline driven. The IT Support Specialist candidate must possess strong technology skills and a high-level of time management abilities.

YOU ARE THE PERFECT CANDIDATE IF YOU –

· Maintaining and supporting professionalism in the workplace.

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to diagnose and fix hardware and software issues for both desktops and servers

· Experience installing and troubleshooting problems on Windows, WinServer, Active Directory, Exchange, DNS

· End-User and Help Desk experience in MS Office Suite and other common desktop applications

· Experience in troubleshooting network related issues that can be related to network infrastructure such as switches and routers

· Configuration of TCP/IP settings on network troubleshooting TCP/IP issues

· Basic printer troubleshooting skills

· Mobile device setup and configuration (Apple devices)

· Certifications such as A+, MCSE, MCTS, MCITP, CNE, CCNA are a plus but not required

JOB OVERVIEW –

· Visit local users in house or at branch locations when onsite presence is needed

· Troubleshoot and resolve computer and network related problems

· Implement new technology

· Identify technology solutions based on analysis of customer support needs

· Strong and consistent communication with customers

· Documenting work performed and other technical information for management

· Occasionally answer phones

· Assists in special projects, as needed with notice and support.

· Other departmental small project related tasks as needed

Schedule:

· 8-hour shift.

· Monday – Friday.

· Bi-weekly pay.

Experience:

· Education: Associates degree or higher.

· Experience: 3-5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Ability to lift 25-30lbs infrequently.

Hourly Range:

· $25-$30 an hour based on experience

License/Certification:

· Driver's License
