Description:The Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) Program is expanding to respond to increased USG and International customer demand for rapid insertion of advanced capabilities, increased production quantities of missiles, and expansion of platform integration efforts. JASSM is a combat-proven, long-range, conventional, air-to-ground, precision standoff missile, designed to destroy high-value, well-defended, fixed and relocatable targets. With sales growth anticipated to exceed $1B per year to support increased capability and production capacity, our program management team is expanding.
The JASSM Production Program Management Team is comprised of program managers organized with leadership roles that are specific to assigned contract scope yet flexible to meet your career development goals. The Production Program Management Teams scope includes: execution of Production Lot Contracts, Production Rate Increase, Transition to Production, Engineering Services, Affordability, Obsolescence, Post Production CLS, and proposals.
This position as a JASSM Production Program Manager is responsible for Production Rate Increase and Transition to Production activities. Job responsibilities include:

This position as a JASSM Production Program Manager is responsible for Production Rate Increase and Transition to Production activities. Job responsibilities include:
- Coordinate with JASSM program leads and managers to ensure seamless integration of future configurations, second sources, and increased capabilities. This includes ensuring successful transition to production of all development, affordability, and obsolesce initiatives.
- Lead the development of production cut-in and ramp strategies, including gaining external customer and internal stakeholder buy-in and leading proposal efforts and negotiations within EPP authority.
- Successful execution of a JASSM production ramp initiatives inclusive of new suppliers introduced through development, increasing production by over 60% at suppliers and MFC production sites
- Identify barriers and risks to increased production rates and develop and execute plans around corresponding opportunities or risk mitigations. Includes leading the strategy for increased production rates throughout the supply chain with a plan to incorporate affordability and drive producibility to support higher rates.
- Manage across multi-functional and multi-site teams, including Dallas, Ocala, Orlando, and Troy.
- Leadership of cross-functional team with scope > $10M, with responsibility for quality/technical, schedule and cost performance
- Experience leading subordinate leaders and developing talent (i.e. IPT leads)
- Experience in risk identification and management
- Experience with Proposal Process (proposal prep, EPP, negotiations)
- Demonstrated performance working with LMC and supplier production teams
- Strong problem solving skills; Quick learner
- Proven ability to work multiple, high-priority tasks in parallel with minimal direction
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written), demonstrated executive presence
- Experience establishing strong customer relationships
- Experience working with suppliers and subcontract management
- Experience with missile systems & sub-systems
- Experience with production rate increase (proposal & execution) on Engineering
- Experience with Development or Production Programs
- Experience working obsolescence issues/mitigations
