Job description

CSG is currently qualifying candidates for a Journeyman Electrician opportunity for a new construction project that will last a minimum of 12 months. This Journeyman Electrician must have experience working with residential, student housing and/or multi-family unit residential projects. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position for the Electrical Journeyman.

Responsibilities of Journeyman Electrician:

• Performs all electrical tasks with no supervision.
• Has the ability to read and accurately interpret electrical construction drawings, terminate cables, install, and troubleshoot control wiring from schematics.
• Demonstrates safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment.
• Performs installations, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment within the residential electrical industry.
• Oversee and supervise team of Electricians and Helpers
• Highly preferred to hold Journeyman or Master Electrician license

Work schedule and benefits for Journeyman Electrician:

• Monday-Friday
• 8+ hour shift days
• Paid weekly
• Potential to go perm if desired

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

• Foreman: 2 years (Preferred)
• Journeyman: 6 years (Preferred)
• Residential construction: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Electrical License (Preferred)
• Master Electrician (Preferred)
