CRAFTSMAN+ is adding a versatile Quality Assurance Tester to our growing team of individuals who are passionate and committed in the pursuit of creative excellence and understanding consumer needs. If you are a person who loves the rewarding challenge of building a brand and are motivated by the responsibilities below, we want to hear from you.

Your Responsibilities

• Creation of test plans for manual repeatable visual tests
• Analyze and establish testing requirements for features and defects
• Provide input for planning and estimating of work at refinement sessions
• Assist in the prioritization of test scenarios and execute according to plan
• Typical tests may include system testing, user acceptance testing, technical architecture testing and security testing
• Provides reporting on defect tracking and escalates technical issues as needed
• Providing ad hoc support to other members of the QA team as required
• Other duties as assigned

Necessary Skills and Experience

• Must have at least 1 years experience in manual testing
• The ability to apply behavior driven testing (BDD) approaches
• Some experience in requirements analysis and feedback
• Understanding of the testing life cycle, writing tests and executing tests, as well as test environment management
• Basic experience in the software development life cycle processes (SDLC)
• Basic understanding of the various testing concepts
• Ability to work independently and an eye for detail

Desirable Skills and Experiences

• Skilled in Atlassian based products – JIRA, Confluence
• Experience using BrowserStack
• Serverless experience
• Understanding of AGILE concepts
• Passionate about the gaming / mobile app industry
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing
• Creating and maintaining tests suites
• Experience in API testing (e.g. Postman)
• Experience with AWS products/services
• Understanding of frontend automation testing using CypressJS
