Job responsibilities:

• Test our USPS postage meters back-end systems
• Our back-end systems are updated with SOC1 and SOC2 approved process that involves signoffs and reviews tracked through a ticketing system. You will be working with a senior SQA engineer to develop test cases and complete the testing following all audit requirements. This will sometime involve setting up postage meters to connect to the QA and UAT infrastructure to complete the test. In the process you will be building a suite of tests which can be used towards future regression tests.
• Test our USPS rate updates on postage meters
• We update USPS rates by pushing proprietary rate files using our back-end systems. You will be working with a senior SQA engineer and Rate developer to understand the USPS changes and come up with a test suite to test and qualify the rate file. This involves loading the files on all models of our postage meters and connecting to our back-end systems and verify all data has been transferred correctly and is according to specification.
• Test our cloud services
• You will be part of Agile development team where you will be participating in scrums and working with senior SQA engineers and senior software engineers to develop and test our cloud-based postage meter web services.

Requirements:

• Problem solver.
• Independent learner. Should be able to pick up a new concept with minimal supervision by a mentor.
• Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Prefer courses in Computer Science related fields like data structures, programming or algorithms.
• Internship or projects demonstrating ability to program.
• Prefer a year of work experience or show equivalent ability
