Job description
Cheer coach must be available during the week for practices and games.
Cheer coach requirements
- Completed high school diploma or GED.
- At least 18 years old.
- Background in cheer (understand cheer techniques, such as motions and stunts)
- CPR and First aid. (This can ensure that any cheer coach can respond to unforeseen circumstances that might affect the safety of their cheerleaders, such as injury from complicated stunts or improperly maintained equipment. Cheer coaches can also pursue more specific certifications from the American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators or the U.S. All Star Federation.)
