Role Description:
Key Account Manager. We are looking for a Key Account Manager in the Hartford area.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Include:
· Reports to District Manager
· Works with Division Manager to ensure each salesperson meets or exceeds all distribution and sales goals with clear communication
· Develops relationships with new customers in conjunction with sales representatives, division managers and the wine and spirit directors
· Expands relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their needs and thus generating incremental revenue growth
· Creates a successful culture while building a strong team
· Develop skills and knowledge of team members within respective divisions
· Assists with conducting individual team meetings and one on ones
· Adheres to all company policies and procedures
· Helps sales representatives with wine lists, glass pours, drink menus and tastings
· Assists with merchandising department for implantation of displays and maintaining current displays
· Helps to facilitate the receiving of purchase orders
· Other duties may be assigned as required

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required drive their own car, ability to bend and lift product weighing up to 35 lbs. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, supervisors and co-workers. Ability to stand, walk and move in and out of a vehicle throughout the day.
Requirements:
· Must have 3 to 5 years’ experience in the wine & spirits industry, on-premise or restaurant management
· Mandatory commitment to further development
· Experience as a sales representative is highly preferred
· Must possess strong leadership, communication, interpersonal skills and self-motivation
· Must be detail orientated and possess strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
· Strong computer literacy and proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Outlook applications
· Must have strong ethics to work as an effective and collaborative team member in a competitive environment
