Chef/Kitchen Manager

Come join our team of dynamic kitchen managers. We seek candidates who are passionate about food and are unwilling to accept second best and inclined to exceed standards on a consistent basis. We operate six full-service restaurants in the suburban

Boston market including Jimmy’s, Grassfield’s and Mario’s. Our brand names are synonymous with quality and value in each of the communities we serve. Become part of our team and be part of the management at one of our six restaurant locations. We offer a different management structure; the Chef/Kitchen Manager and Dining Room Manager direct their own areas and together they manage the operation.

We are looking for candidates who posses the following:

• 2+ years of solid, full service casual dining experience in a high- volume environment;
• ability to attract, hire, and retain employees;
• ability to energize and motivate;
• ability to work with staff in such a manner as to build high morale and group commitment to goals and objectives;
• ability to influence the actions and opinions of staff in a desired direction.

These management positions will:

• oversee the kitchen food service activities;
• supervise employees, maintain records of personnel performance and restaurant activities;
• select, train, and develop new employees;
• execute the general responsibilities necessary to minimize operating costs.

Unlike most restaurants we offer a five-day work week (45-50 hours per week) with at least one day off on a weekend. We have an excellent benefits package including medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, vacation, and 401k plan with matching company contributions.
