The ideal candidate for this position has at least two years' experience managing a kitchen staff, supervising other employees and being in charge of the smooth running of a busy restaurant. The successful candidate will be required to prepare the menu and recipes, be involved in menu pricing along with menu development and assist in menu design. The right candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong team building skills and have the ability to inspire confidence in their co-workers.

Responsibilities:

• Work with kitchen staff to ensure that food is prepared to standard.
• Coordinate service of food and beverages.
• Maintain a safe and clean kitchen.
• Make sure the kitchen staff is following proper procedures.
• Communicate clearly with the chef, kitchen staff, and customers.
• Provide training and motivation to the kitchen staff.
• Prepare food in a timely manner.
• Be able to explain dishes to wait staff and customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
