Quad City Gastroenterology, a Covenant Physician Partner, is hiring a Laboratory Supervisor to join our team!
About the Opportunity
The Supervisor, Laboratory Services implements the lab mission, goals and objectives by establishing and directing the short and long term vision, values and goals of the department and by managing all aspects of the department's histology section in collaboration with the Manager - Laboratory Services, including staffing, proficiency testing, competency validation, quality control, testing schedules, technical issues and other functions toward the attainment of these goals.
About the Candidate
- Five years (preferred), minimum of three years, experience as a bench-level technologist
- Meets the education requirements for high complexity testing for grossing
- Prior experience in a supervisory role
- Leadership abilities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills
- State Supervisor License if required by state in which the lab is located
