Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable laborer who is proficient in the use of power tools and forklift operation to assist with the disassembly and loading of machinery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for disassembling and safely loading a variety of machinery onto trucks for transport. This is a full-time position with a shift of 10 AM to 6 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Use power tools to safely disassemble machinery
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Operate forklift to safely load machinery onto trucks
- Ensure that machinery is loaded securely and protected during transport
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors
Machinery to be disassembled and loaded:
- Floor Scrubber
- 6-Head Filler Production Line
- 12-Head Filler Production Line
- 3 Capper Machines
- 1 Norton Machine
- Conveyors
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in labor or construction work
- Knowledge of power tools and equipment operation
- Certified forklift operator or willingness to become certified
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor as required
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
