We do landscape design and install from start to finish and are seeking reliable, hardworking laborers of all skill levels to join our fun and friendly crew.

If you're highly skilled, specifically in hardscaping and/or construction, we definitely want to talk with you.

If you’re semi-skilled, we would be happy to have you on our team and you can learn more on the job.

If you’re unskilled but have a strong work ethic and a good attitude, we can train if you can commit to being with us long term. We have no problem hiring people from other industries and enjoy teaching folks who are motivated to learn!

A+ Skills Include

Hardscaping (all forms: flagstone/pavers/brick/tile; rock walls/staircases; DG/gravel)

Planting/Landscaping practices

Irrigation experience

Proficiency with small power tools

Ability to take direction and work side by side with owners/crew

Good communication skills/attitude

Bonus:

Carpentry skills

Other trades experience

Horticultural & Permaculture knowledge

Eye for design/symmetry

Good time management skills

Please be punctual, reliable, flexible, hard-working, physically strong, good communicator, low drama/ego, positive vibes.

Be prepared to work in the outside environment, and enjoy being physically active for a full work day.

Ability to work on your own, as well as take direction and work side by side with the owners, foreman, and crew is important.

You do not need to bring your own tools but please have your own PPE

You do not need to have a truck, but you do need to be able to have reliable transportation to job sites, which tend to be in residential neighborhoods of Alameda/Albany/Berkeley/Oakland.

If you DO have a truck, we may have extra work for you

No smoking/drinking/drug use anywhere near job sites.

Our job sites are all outside, however all employees must commit to safe covid practices when on site. Fully vaccinated preferred.

Benefits include: Paid lunch break, later working hours (you don't have to wake up at the crack of dawn to work with us!), somewhat flexible schedule, really cool bosses : )

Work days are M-F from 830-430; later hours in the summer. We are open to someone who wants to work less than this as well.

Pay (competitive) to commensurate with experience; Training rate may apply. We may also offer a sign on bonus for qualified parties. Starting rate at $22-25 depending on experience and what you bring to the table. There is always room for growth and advancement.
Pay is direct deposited every 2 wks and you receive a W2 at year’s end. You must have the legal ability to work in the USA.
