GENERAL

Performs landscape material installations and irrigation maintenance general construction services including but not limited to carpentry, masonry, and concrete work. May supervisor 3-5 team members.

DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES

1. Fulfill all requirements of Team Leader job position.

2. Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety and regulations.

3. Be aware of the safety of the public and fellow associates.

4. Report all unsafe practices or conditions to your supervisor.

5. Immediately report all injuries no matter how slight to our supervisor

6. Be able to manage and supervise assigned crew members.

7. Report problems to Operations Manager.

8. Train crew members to complete job within estimated time frame.

9. Plan and organize work for crew members on job.

10. Initiate and complete all required paperwork within established time frame.

11. Enforce all safety policies and procedures.

12. Maintain equipment in good operating condition.

13. Be knowledgeable in First Aid procedures.

14. Properly complete, process and communicate all work.

15. Be able to use a variety of equipment including but not limited to: Trenchers, Ride-on Skid Loaders and Bob Cats.

16. Properly notify for LA One Call.

17. Demonstrate the ability to drive a truck while towing a trailer.

18. Must have a valid Louisiana driver’s license, an insurable driving record, and qualify to drive a company vehicle.

19. Set up truck daily with all supplies and equipment needed to complete the day’s work.

20. Must layout planting projects from blueprints.

21. Must know how to properly prepare soil, plant, mulch, install drainage systems, and restore lawns, grade and install low voltage lighting.

22. Must be able to prune trees up to 12’ in height.

23. Must have local plant knowledge.

24. Performs pest control by broadcast treatment using backpack sprayer to control broadleaf weeds in turf using gradual or liquid herbicide.

25. Must understand water requirements for seed, sod & plantings.

26. Wear leather boots.

27. Wear uniform properly.

1. Edger

2. Hedge Trimmer

3. Line Trimmer

4. Reciprocating Trimmer

5. Loppers

6. Prune Saw

7. Scale Ruler

8. Skid Steer Loader, Trencher, Ride – on Skid Loader and Bob Cat

9. Back Pack Sprayer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Landscape maintenance: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
