Landscape Operations Manager Hours: Flexible schedule required and may require occasional weekend work Location: Charlotte, NC Experience Required: • At least 1-2 years of strong management experience • 3 years or more of industry experience with a strong skillset in Turf, grounds, and irrigation care • Track record of success under pressure to complete time-sensitive tasks Necessary Skills: • Customer Service Experience • Attention to detail • Servant Leadership Skills • Ability to speak and write professionally • Emotionally intelligent and can train others • Being bilingual is a plus but not required • A valid driver’s license is required for this role Lifting Restrictions: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions (extreme heat and cold). Responsibilities: The Operations Manager will be directly responsible for customer satisfaction, account retention, and strong employee relations.
Specific responsibilities include: • “Own” their business to drive customer satisfaction • Work scheduling of all account personnel • Establishing work standards • Conducting site evaluations/audits • Overall inventory/equipment usage, budget control, troubleshooting/problem-solving • Orientation/training of supervisory and support personnel • Safety compliance • Customer relations, and special project work as requested. • This individual will also ensure that all managed services are being provided in a proper and cost-effective manner.
