Job description
Orion RED a leading designer and fabricator of exhibits and retail environments has an immediate opening for a Laser Cutting Operator.
This person will be responsible for running and maintaining a CO2 laser cutting and etching materials for production type of work, with the goal of advancing the companies capabilities. You will be expected to work with a production team producing parts needed to complete projects on time, experimenting with different materials creating new techniques to achieve a quality product. You will be working with different materials such as wood, acrylics, steel, stainless steel and other types of metals.
Experience preparing files using Auto-CAD software and creating DXF’s are needed.
Responsibilities:
  • Work with production and creative teams to complete projects on schedule.
  • Experiment with different materials and techniques to achieve novel effects.
  • Prep files for cutting using CAD software.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
