Job Summary:
Under general supervision, coordinates assigned employee duties and insures resource allocation between assigned clinics to insure efficient patient flow. Trained in all aspects of the specialty clinics daily operation responsibilities including but not limited to: Outpatient registration, scheduling, template building and maintenance, cash handling, quality assurance to include weekly feedback and education to staff and Insurance Verification/Authorization. Makes recommendations for retraining and training new hires. Works collaboratively with other department leads, supervisors, and managers to ensure continuous clinic flow by monitoring daily clinic schedules and registration processes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent telephone skills and critical analytical thinking skills, with an emphasis on customer service.
- Ability to work with the public explaining policies and procedures in an outpatient setting.
- Bi-lingual skills preferred.
Computers and Technology:
- Proficient in the use of Windows XP and ability to 40 wpm.
- Knowledge of EPIC and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience:
- Graduation from high school diploma or possession of a GED certificate required.
- Three years of clerical experience required.
Certificates, Licenses and Registration:
- Health Care Access Associates Certificate preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, coaching, supervision, fostering teamwork, training and development of one or more employees.

$20.19 - $27.26/hr
