Accessible Space Inc. (ASI) is a national nonprofit organization providing housing and personal care services to individuals with physical disabilities, seniors and veterans. Accessible Space Inc is seeking a Full Time Lead Resident Assistant to provide personal care, supervisory care, chore services, direction and guidance to ASI ’s Community Residential Services (CRS) residents in Coon Rapids, MN! ASI is pleased to offer a competitive salary $17.75 - with full benefit package including Medical/Dental, Paid Time Off (PTO), Holiday Pay, Education Reimbursement, Wellness Rebate, Daily Pay, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and more!!Candidate will also perform lead functions that include, but are not limited to serving as the RA in charge in the absence of the Site Supervisor; observing and communicating appropriate site, staff, and resident information to the Site Supervisor; planning monthly activities for the house residents and interacting and participating where appropriate. Assist Site Supervisor with quarterly evaluations of residents; preparing and submitting payroll when requested by supervisor; assisting with training of staff regarding implementation of resident programs; and modeling and leading the staff in encouraging residents to grow to the highest level of self-sufficiency possible within the program and community at large. Must be able to document incidents and occurrences accurately and appropriately in order to ensure the efficient flow of information. The ability to model appropriate professional techniques as well as train and redirect staff in the same.
Previous lead position experience is desirable with strong problem-solving skills, dependability, flexibility, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
