Nemours is seeking a Lease Specialist (Full-Time), to join our Nemours Children's Health team in either Jacksonville, Florida or Orlando, Florida.

This will be a remote position in either Jacksonville, Florida or Orlando, Florida.

This position will serve as the central point person for receiving, reviewing and processing real estate lease related billings and receivables. The position will also be responsible for providing lease and landlord billing review and support the on-going abstraction of lease documents for the Real Estate Department into Nemours' Lucernex real estate administration system. This position handles administrative functions including, but not limited to ; managing 3 rd party abstracting of lease documents including amendments, modifications, and letter agreements. Preparation of SNDA and Estoppels at the direction of the Real Estate Manager . Conduct review and desk-top audit of ancillary charge billings, using word processing or spreadsheet software including coordinating with other administrative support associates who support Facilities teams across the Enterprise. This position would coordinate the administrative functions specific to the selected Lease Administration Software. This could include researching and uploading lease documents; updating lease files; and legal document processing including management of signature execution process; document abstraction into lease management software.
  • Organizes and maintains confidential files, directing the preparation and retention of electronic and paper records. (do we still have paper records?)
  • Provides accurate Timekeeping for assigned staff using Kronos Workforce Central program for all assigned personnel in the Corporate Facilities Department.
  • Serves as the coordinator for purposes of calendaring, travel and expense reimbursement report processing
  • Coordinates lease management and payment with internal accounting team
  • Prepares reports as directed by management.
  • Timely coordinate internal departments during due diligence in property surveys (e.g. IS, design, facility management, project management, etc.)
  • Desktop review of CAM and rent escalation billings before going to Accounts Payable
  • Receive requests for legal documents including Estoppel and SNDA's:
  • Convert to Nemours form
  • Research/identify any outstanding claims
  • Prepare for signature
  • Maintain DocuSign for Real Estate signature requirements, follow-up and create reminders as needed
  • Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by employee's supervisor

Job Requirements
  • Associate's Degree required.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years experience required.
  • Up to 10% travel required.
