Job description

The Lectra Leather Cutter will be responsible for using the Lectra Cutting machine to cut leather by size and style.

Coaching, training, and disciplining for this position are provided and coordinated by the Cutting Department Team Coach.

Skills:

1. Ability to understand, remember, and follow both oral and written instructions.

2. Must be able to functionally read, write, and count accurately and repetitively.

3. Ability and reliability to work independently without close supervision

4. Honest, dependable and trustworthy with a high degree of pride in work and a good work ethic.

5. Ability to concentrate and give continuous close attention to job.

6. Must to able to follow directions

7. Ability to work as a part of a team.

8. Postive attidue. Must have or acquire an understanding that criticism of a fellow employee in a demeaning, degrading, or in a character destructive manner is counter-productive to developing a cohesive team spirt within the operating unit.

9. Ability and commitment to maintain self-control and be self-responsible, self-managed. self-motivated and self-accountable in performance of job duties.

10. Open to a changing environment and willing to accept change. Willingness to look for new and better ways to handle day to day activites and work toward continuous improvement in performance of job duties.
