The Legal Recruitment Assistant executes and supports the Campus Relations team in all aspects of the Firm’s law student recruitment efforts and Summer Associate Program.
Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the Firm’s global law student recruiting efforts, including campus outreach activities, the on-campus interview process, and the callback interview process for 1L and 2L recruits
  • Process registrations for on-campus interview programs
  • Review/sort candidate applications and maintain candidate records
  • Coordinate interview schedules for candidates
  • Organize and attend virtual and in-person recruitment events
  • Coordinate attorney participation in on-campus events
  • Support aspects of the Summer Associate Program, including planning and attending summer associate events, coordinating the mentoring program, and assisting with the assignment process
  • Send event invitations, track event attendance and liaise with internal and external vendors
  • Provide on-site support during summer associate events
  • Update summer associate assignment database and schedule summer associate reviews
  • Provide regular administrative support for Legal Recruitment Department:
  • Process expense reports
  • Email communications
  • Scheduling/calendar appointments
  • Database and file maintenance

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years related work experience and/or internship, preferably in a legal or professional services environment
  • Availability to work overtime on certain occasions is necessary
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, and with a wide range of professionals at all levels
  • Must possess excellent written, organizational, and communication skills, basic computer skills, and the ability to work quickly and accurately

Salary:
$55,000 - $62,000. Paul, Weiss offers competitive compensation and benefits packages. The firm considers a number of factors when determining compensation, including, but not limited to, education, years of experience, levels of experience, competency levels and other relevant skills and qualifications
