Job description
The Silverthorne Recreation Center is accepting applications for a Part-Time Leisure Instructor for children's fall and winter recreational after school programs. Qualified candidates should have experience teaching and supervising children ages 3-12 in topics such as, but not limited to cooking, arts and crafts, STEM topics, outdoor education, active play, group games, gardening, and other recreational activities. Programs will be themed and will take place at the Silverthorne Recreation Center, surrounding parks, and nearby natural areas.
Hours:
Mondays and Tuesdays from 4:00pm - 6pm.
Wednesdays from 3pm - 6pm.
Opportunities to instruct up to 3 additional tot classes during the day (flexible) also exist.
Must be able to work at least 2 shifts per week.
Hiring Range is: $20.48 - $23.21
Full Pay Range is: $20.48 - $27.30

The Town of Silverthorne also provides a $400 hiring bonus to all new part-time employees.
$100 at time of hire
$300 after three months working and having worked a quarter of the number of hours required to receive a merit increase, e.g. 52 hours for a lifeguard, when the annual amount to receive a merit is 208 hours.
