Crossroads Animal Hospital is a state of the art full service animal hospital offering comprehensive wellness care, preventative care and urgent care. We are looking for a full time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team of enthusiastic veterinary technicians and assistants.

We offer the latest in digital dental imaging, digital radiology, laser therapy and a comprehensive in-house lab we are able to provide the highest standard of medical care. We are located in central Virginia, in the heart of beautiful wine country!

As a member of the team you would be responsible for critical and general technical care, phlebotomy, IVC placement, administering and monitoring anesthesia, performing dental cleanings, client communication, as well as working with DVMs to maintain the highest levels of patient care.

This position requires a self-motivated, detail oriented, positive technician. You must be able to lift in excess of 40lbs, have excellent communication skills, basic computer skills, and a strong work ethic. The work environment is fun, positive, and progressive. Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Virginia State LVT License (Required)
