The Shores Post Acute San Diego is seeking qualified and compassionate LVNs to coordinate nursing care and provide supervision to nursing staff in our skilled nursing facility located in San Diego, CA.

WE ARE OFFERING BONUS OF $5,000 FOR FULL TIME!

Position Summary:

• LVNs coordinate and provide nursing care for residents and provide supervision and guidance to clinical staff members.
• Documents the resident's condition and identities the resident's nursing needs.
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians' orders.
• Administers medications and performs treatments for assigned residents and documents that treatment, as required company policy and local, state and federal rules and regulations.
• Assists physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state specified Nurse Practice Act.
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically and that equipment is clean and maintained in a safe manner.
• Reports and records pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
• Assists with or institutes emergency measures for sudden adverse developments in residents.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid LVN license in CA.

• Must have a valid CPR certification.

• One year of experience in the nursing field is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Demonstrated competence of nursing skills within the applicable Nurse Practice Act and associated expectations for quality care delivery.

• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members and coworkers.

• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
