Job Summary

The continued revenue growth of Tier-A and Tier-B distributors is part of our company goals. This function is critical to achieving that goal, as it is in charge of ensuring that MP Biomedical’s product listings on distributors' websites are up to date and aligned with our sales and marketing requirements. The primary responsibility will be distributor portfolio management – This includes adding new products to distributor portals, improving existing listings by adding relevant product data, keywords, and images, and removing obsolete products from portals/websites.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio enhancement: Collaborate with internal Product Management, Sales/Channel Support, and Marketing teams on distributor portfolio enrichment activities, such as updating product descriptions, adding product specifications and attributes, selecting appropriate keywords, submitting product images, and product category optimization.
• Portfolio strengthening: Utilize distributor-specific templates and portals to add new products to strengthen the portfolio, ensuring that products are listed with the relevant marketing and quality data (e.g., safety data sheets, user manuals, product testing and characterization data, product imagery, etc.).
• Portfolio cleanup: Identify products that are no longer relevant on distributor websites and initiate and manage the product discontinuation process.
• Serve as a point of contact for the distributor catalog upload and management process and assist with distributor catalog product-related inquiries.
• Create reports to aid in the tracking of portfolio management/cleanup progress. Hold progress update and review meetings.
• Collaborate with internal teams and distributors on annual price change/adjustment initiatives.
• Coordinate with distributor partners and internal teams to fulfill distributor program and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze and generate insights from distributor sales data and share the findings with key stakeholders.
• Help coordinate and support opportunity management and pricing negotiations with specific distributors under the direction of Channel Sales Manager.
• Fulfill any other general tasks identified by the Channel Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in science is required.
• 2 years’ experience (with Life Science companies) is preferred.
• Must be data savvy.
• MS Office experience especially with MS Excel is required.
• Must be detail-oriented and capable of owning and completing tasks on time.
