We are seeking individuals with strong instructional skills, communication skills and physical stamina. This may be the perfect career opportunity for you!

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Maintain active surveillance of the pool area and apply safety rules and guidelines
• Know all emergency procedures and respond to emergency situations
• Maintain effective, positive relationships with the members and participants

To qualify as a Lifeguard, you must be at least 16 and possess:

• We will train and reimburse you for your certification expenses
• Certifications: CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid
• Current Lifeguard certificate (Current Nassau County Lifeguard certificate for GC location)
• Ability to maintain certification-level of physical and mental readiness

To qualify as a Swim Instructor, you must be at least 16 and:

• Demonstrate swim instructor skills
• Be currently certified as a Swim Instructor
