Overview of Position
: This position is responsible for safely loading and unloading guests from lifts. A Lift Operator must understand all of the activities involved in running a lift including operation, loading, crowd control and maintenance. This is a key position in assuring the safe operations of all lifts while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Job Qualifications:
- Must be a minimum age of 18.
- Must be able to handle stressful, noisy, crowded and distracting situations.
- Must be comfortable interacting with both guests and employees in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Must maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Must be able to sustain adverse weather conditions for extended periods of time.

- Lift operators are expected to perform the following duties:
- Use and care of equipment and materials
- Daily Set-up
- Daily Clean – up
- Troubleshooting
- Safety standards and protocol
- Lift Safety
- Loading and Unloading Procedures
- Emergency procedures
- Ramp maintenance
- Care of buildings and equipment
- Greeting and assisting guests
- Ability to communicate efficiently with use of radios
- Crowd control
- Scanning
- Loading
- Corrals
- Line control
- Ticket issues
- Ensure Windham Mountain Resort guests have the best possible lift experience.
Work Schedule and Conditions: We are in the business of providing a quality product and experience for our guests. Traditionally our busy periods are during weekends and holiday periods which you will be expected to work. You can also expect to be asked to work extra hours or days on occasion, especially during the holiday periods. Accordingly, we expect that you arrive for your scheduled shift on time and prepared to work despite inclement weather and we also expect you be on time and prepared to work busy holidays and weekends per your schedule.
We will attempt to offer consecutive days off and accommodate special scheduling requests, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to satisfy all requests. We expect employees to arrive promptly.
