A local manufacturer is looking for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic to join our team as a light industry machine operator. The Light Industry Machine Operator will safely control various machines and equipment involved in production.

• Operates production machinery in accordance with specifications
• Produces the required quantity of items within established specifications
• Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces
• Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance
• When necessary, makes minor adjustments to machine for varying output of products (training provided)
• Packages or off-loads finished products to appropriate department or area in order to maintain production work flow
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Scheduled hours are Monday thru Friday with the option of three eight hour schedules: 5:30am to 2:00pm, 6:00am to 2:30pm or 6:30am to 3:00pm. Work area is climate controlled.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.50 per hour
