We have a full-time opening for a Lobby Attendant available immediately in the Boston area. This position is scheduled to work Monday through Friday 11 AM until 7 PM.

The Lobby Attendant is responsible for greeting residents, guests and vendors in a high end, service forward lobby in a private residential building. The Lobby Attendant will assist with delivering packages and accompanying guests and vendors as requested. They will also participate in keeping the lobby area spotless. They should demonstrate a positive attitude by displaying courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to every person entering and leaving the building. The Lobby Attendant provides outstanding customer service by proactively acknowledging every person who arrives and departs the building and providing consistent high-level support to the on-site staff, residents, guests, and vendors at the building. This position reports to the Lead Concierge.
Prior customer service experience is preferred.
Other qualities and requirements for a successful Lobby Attendant include:
- Must have the ability to pass a criminal background and credit check.
- Respond to resident / guest questions or concerns in a timely, professional manner.
- Maintain applicable logs, and update files relevant to building operations and maintain accurate and complete shift notes and "pass-on" logs to ensure successful communication through shift changes.
- Report any maintenance issues immediately to property management.
- Maintain clean lobby and entrance area.
- Always represent the company in a professional manner.
- Deliver flowers, laundry, and packages to resident homes.
- Greet residents/visitors/vendors warmly and professionally and evaluate and respond to all concerns in a prompt, friendly, and efficient manner.
- In the case of emergency contact the applicable public service response organization and the Property Manager and follow applicable emergency procedures.
- Follow emergency procedures as directed in the property manual. Follow procedures, policies, and other important correspondence from HQ office.

- Physical - Must be able to move, lift, push, pull, or carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds, unassisted. Able to stand and / or walk for duration of scheduled shift
- Dexterity of wrists, hands, and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other devices and objects such sweeping with a broom
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the customer service preferred
- High School Diploma or G.E.D., college preferred
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to excel at details, multi-tasking, and work under pressure
