Overview

SCCI is seeking a disciplined Logistician who will directly support both the Hardware Group Lead and Engineering Lead, interface with the Engineering Team for Technical Data Package and Delivery preparation, and provide Inventory Integrity and Database Audit/Cleanup. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Manage hardware preparation, staging and delivery of Weapon System Components for direct integration with final tactical platform
• Create and track Engineering/Test Work Orders
• Track and Report Information Assurance Accreditation of Inventory Items
• Gather data for Technical Data Packages
• Receive and issue all acquired and procured Weapons System Components
• Coordinate, track, and prepare required Weapons System Component shipping
• Track hardware readiness, testing status, and assignment priorities
• Track actions, issues, and assignments for staff ensuring on time completion
• Assist in the development of new and updating existing processes and procedures
• Organize and maintain source data
• Perform daily inventory functions to assure accurate accountability of Weapons Systems components
• Provide fork lift support

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Must be a U.S. CITIZEN and have an ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE
• High school degree or equivalent
• 5 years of general experience that include at least 3 years’ experience in providing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)
• 2 years of specialized technical experience in maintaining provisioning and preparation of government documentation within the logistical technical areas purview
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and be able to operate a forklift on a daily basis
• Ability to work independently and on a team

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with a Weapon System or Weapon Control System
• Experience supporting DOD Logistics
