Job Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for receiving, storing, and disbursing all materials and supplies that are needed. Additionally, this position is responsible for delivering and picking up materials and component parts in order to support the production lines along with the responsibility of picking and packaging materials necessary to complete delivery notes and complete computer transactions. This position also enters receipts in SAP and checks all invoices to ensure that the correct items and quantities are received. This position also performs regular cycle counts. Adherence to safety, housekeeping and quality standards as they relate to the production and the company’s objective is required. In addition, this position is responsible for supporting the production lines in maintaining productivity targets and cost containment by eliminating waste.

Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Salary is $21.69 /hr
- Receiving, transporting, filling orders and delivery of material received.
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
- Pick, pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping for internal and external customers, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.
- Picks up finished product and distributes to internal departments and replenished outgoing pallets as necessary
- Supports production associates with various types of work, including moving material, picking material, and performing related tasks
- Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
- Completes reports and other departmental paperwork as assigned
- Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
- Communicate with vendor, internal, and all other drivers.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Ability to perform standard software operations including SAP
- Ability to sometimes lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporaries.
- Ability to concentrate for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to use hand tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to obtain Basic and Advanced Hazardous Material certification.
- Ability to operate a fork truck
- Ability to operate a pallet jack
- Ability to operate a lift crane
- Ability to unload trucks
- Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate work and organize daily activities
- Ability to act independently, take personal initiative, and follow through to completion
- Possess the willingness and ability to work overtime
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area
- Ability to wear safety glasses ANSI Z87 approved and other PPE as required
Education and Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 months previous storeroom/warehouse experience.
