Title: Logistics Specialist

Type of Position: W2 / Exempt Employee

We offer over 200 different products sourced from over 25 different programs. All our meats are “best in class”. We are obsessed with customer service. Our delivery service is provided in most of South Florida and we ship nationwide.

Position Overview: The Logistics Specialist oversees and takes part in all supply chain operations taking place in the company, including order fulfillment, transportation of deliveries and goods, warehouse support, and most importantly customer service. The logistics specialist is to make sure that everything runs smoothly and is organized; little to no room left for mistakes.

Key accountabilities that are part of the role:

§ Create daily delivery routes for all three boutique locations using route optimization software.

§ Route product transfers between stores, providers and foodservice locations as needed.

§ Supervise delivery drivers as they do their jobs. Ensure that drivers are being efficient with company vehicles.

§ Ensure the proper processing of delivery routes for every timeframe of the day.

§ Work with the maintenance team to oversee the physical and mechanical state of company vehicles and make sure that vehicles are repaired on a timely basis.

§ Ensure that all company vehicle documentation is up to date and use the proper channels to renew any paperwork.

§ Work closely with store associates and drivers to ensure that vehicles are checked in/checked out every time they are used.

§ Make sure all KPI's, dashboards and reports are up-to-date for review every day.

§ Take part in customer service, taking care of storefront customers, answering calls, taking orders.

§ Keeping effective communication between all departments.

§ Assist the receiving/warehouse team when necessary.

§ Assist in building delivery orders when needed.

§ Ensure that all supplies needed by employees inside of the store are being ordered and re-stocked.

Key Requirements

§ Previous Logistics Specialist/Coordinator experience.

§ High school diploma or equivalent.

§ Must be fluent in English. Spanish/Portuguese a plus.

§ Communicative

§ Profuse knowledge of Microsoft Office

§ Valid Driver’s license

§ Ability to work Monday-Sunday between 9am and 8pm (schedule will vary)

Compensation: Market rates commensurate with experience. Three weeks vacation during non-peak times and monthly Meat N’ Bone shopping credit are some of the benefits we offer. Monthly bonus after 90 days.
